How did this make second place? Don't get me wrong, this is just plain out boring, no climax, no vocals, just a guitar and a beat with some bass. That's it. So I ask, how the hell did this make second?

Agreed. This was my first song I ever made, so it definitely has its flaws. For a first song, though, I'm pretty pleased with the results.

Wow, this is good!

Few things, remove/change the clap in my opinion. Also find a different piano
synth.

The gold saw (I believe that's the one you used) should be turned down.

Nothing but my own
I had used things from three other pieces of music that I had made during the break I took from this
Other than that, I tried to stick close to the Super Smash Bros Melee opening for the symphonic part
Now subconsciously, I believe I may have taken a bit of the piano melody from a song I first heard from an animation years ago called "Everyone Else Has Had More Sex Than Me" as I mentioned before in another review.
