I easily saw this coming.

Congrats man :D! The bass is so finely EQ'd along with your electro bass. Sounds nice and crisp.

Thanks man!!

To phat for my taste.

But I will not give a score based on preference on genre's.

It would have been great to hear some fast passed dubstep rather than the drums going :(.

Still, this is a high quality track! The drops are fantastic!

Serious review tiem.

The dubstep was incredible, however a few things that didn't flow very well:

Starting from the top, your choice of snare. Recently you've always been using that one snare, and it's starting to rub off. That and it's horrible for drops, it's way too fat. I didn't find your drop to be heavy enough for the transition you had waiting. It was too rough. But standing on the other side and ignoring that transition was amazing. All your other transitions were perfect except one more at 2:08-2:11, you shouldn't have left that part bare, it was out of place.

Moving on to your chords, very nice, they were flawless down to the sound you used for them.

Your kick was not heavy enough. You should try using the EQer on that and get a 3 band on that and raising the bass's spike.

I am extremely curious to how you made your dubstep lead (example at 2:00-2:02) I was thinking you used the performer section of your LFO. If you wouldn't mind telling me that would make my day ^_^!

Overall; great track, downloaded, 8/10, 4/5.

EQing was fantastic.

That's the first thing I noticed when I listened to this, it is the most essential part of a song. The bass was fantastic, this will be the first time in a long time I've downloaded something from newgrounds.

Keep it up!

Thanks for the comment! :)

Nice samples.

I am just hearing a revamp. Nothing new.

Different.

Not my style but still a flawless track, good work!

Whoa, damn nice drop!

Tad slow for me but that is QUALITY dubstep! You do not understand how much I want to collab with you. You can just give me a flat out yes or no answer! Just reference my submissions I suppose.

I've downloaded this song a while back.

Although I never gave it a review. This song was honestly great I loved almost everything about it. A few things I didn't like though was the volume mastering. You need to work on that a little bit because I can notice what sounds are louder than others during your dubstep. Your dubstep is also repetitive however catchy as hell so it still gets a pass ;).

Overall great track, keep at it.

dietsnapple135 responds:

Haha thanks! Yeah, it can be repetitive but I do try to make it sound pretty complex to make up for it. I find a lot of dubstep is way way too repetitive so i try my best not to have that problem myself! With the volume mastering, yeah I try to get the volumes right without compressing it too hard, but it's tricky and it depends on what sound system you have, so I tried to give it something that would sound decent on everything. Thanks for the review!

No, he's not a hater.

This ISN'T dubstep. Mostly because it doesn't follow any of the rules dubstep follows. Or bass for that matter. For some reason the Newgrounds community has never heard good enough dubstep to produce it. If I were to give this a genre it would be really slow basic electro. It isn't even drum 'n' bass.

You're hitting some bad chords, other than that you're following a really basic chord with some arps. The main melody (decent) doesn't even follow your bass. You need some work.
