It's good.

What did you use for the intro? Not bad for an 8bit song.

PatrickMueller responds:

first of all: thanks!
to produce the whole song, i used fl studio. the arp at the beginning is done with fl's 3xOsc. The bass that comes in after 4 bars is done with a plug-in called 38911 bytes. the snare-like instrument that i added after the next 4 bars has also been created with that. and the last thing i added is a noise-sound which is known for being the drums on nes-games. i created it with a plug-in called magical 8 bit plug.
hope this helped!

Not Industrial :P

You've got some dubstep, hard rock, a little bit of everything in there lol.

TechnicolourNuance responds:

Hahaha. Thank you. :3 I wasn't trying to go for dubstep Dx I messed up the bass and it became all wubby :<
But I was trying to go for the KMFDM and Rob Zombie style haha. Oh well. Thanks. xD

It was funny...

But funny songs do NOT belong in the top 30. I'm sorry, it was humerus but not worthy of this spot.

Sudden jump.

The volume jump was frightening O_o.

Besides that, not too bad. Get out of your 8bit plugin shell ;P

Cmdtrigun responds:

Yeah, the sound jump is ridiculous, isn't it?? I'll be sure to fix it. And I've been trying to get out of my shell! I've been delving into all kinds of genres, gotta keep working though. Thanks for the 8 man. (and 5 it seems lol)

This song doesn't deserve this score.

I fived it old friend. Just for some kicks, mind if I do another mix? Except on this song of coarse :P.

Cmdtrigun responds:

Thanks! This was one of my favorite songs to make, one of the few full songs I have and it means a lot to me that at least a couple people like it haha. I've stopped looking too much at the NG scores as long as they're above 3, the system is iffy. And yeah, you can remix it. Old friend :D

Better! A lot better!

You're getting there, just make the drums and what not come in later, make them phase in.

decoyultimatum responds:

ill try that im sure it will help thanks :)

I was unsure at first...

But then it hit the 1:10 mark and it was really good. Nice charge up. Although after the charge up I highly suggest using a nice dance synth instead of the one you were using throughout the whole song.

decoyultimatum responds:

that "charge up" took me forever to make work the way it was flowing at first was all wrong. i dont care for the beginning really until around the charge up but thats because there is supposed to be some kinda heavy dub instrument there and after trying for hours on trying to make dub without help from someone i decided to offer a collab in the author comments which is why you pmed me :)

I couldn't honestly make much of this..

The wobble sound sounds good... But I'm going to be honest, it needs work on ever aspect ^_^;..

TechnicolourNuance responds:

Hahah. Thank you.(:
I was just trying to get wobbles down and not make anything else. Glad they sound good :D
And I will def be working on every other aspect. :P

Alright, not a bad start.

Turn down the drums a tad, change the lead sound, it's a tad annoying. Once it gets past the second build up, change the notes up a little bit and change the lead.

Not bad..

Just need better synths I guess. Very slow, no lead so I would put it in "Drum 'n' bass".

TechnicolourNuance responds:

I'm not trying to go for an electronic genre though. I was more focused on the piano and bass. I only used a sub-bass for more bass. Still need to work on that though haha. Uhm. What synths would you recommend? I would redo this with FL, since this was using only Garageband.-.- Please message me with anything that would help. :3
Thanks for the review. :D
